This week I’ll answer some of the most commonly asked questions about the new Spartan race series. Let’s get started.
Can I Watch Live?”
Yes. Spartan TV will have all the coverage with live streams available for every event. If you’re in the US, you can also download the app on your phone and catch all the action live as it happens. To keep up-to-date on the latest news and announcements, you can also follow @spartantv on Twitter. And if you haven’t tried it yet, be sure to check out their website to learn more about the series and register for tickets to see live racing!
How Do I Sign Up?
You can sign up for Spartan Races at the link below. Make sure to choose “USA” on the registration page if you’re in the U.S or Canada, or “GB” if you’re anywhere else in the world. Once registered, you’ll receive an email with more information about the series and how to prepare for it. Make sure to save this email as you may need to refer back to it later!
When Is It On?”
The series will consist of 10 races, with five in the spring and the rest in the fall. The events will be held in North Carolina, Michigan, and Georgia. You can find the complete schedule here. Make sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity!
Is It Legal?”
Yes. The series is sanctioned by the International Motorcycle Association and is therefore, legal to participate in. The only thing you need to worry about is finding a safe area to park your bike. Most tracks will allow you to park in any of their designated “biker” or “motorcycle” parking areas. These areas have special signs and often restricted hours of parking to prevent any accidents and provide some level of comfort to other drivers on the roadways. Find a list of where to park here. Also, make sure to bring your helmet, gloves, and lights if you’re participating in any of the night races.
I hope that was helpful. As always, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. And for the latest news and information, be sure to follow @spartantv on Twitter or check out their website.
