Our goal in creating this tool was to make it as simple as possible for any employee to find out their exact earnings, without having to go through an entire payroll process. So, hopefully this new tool will cut down on some of those laborious hours that store managers have to spend preparing payroll summaries.
One of the things that we found really frustrating about the process of preparing pay stubs is that there were just too many variables. For example, what if you had taken longer than expected to hand in that week’s payroll? What if there were errors in the preparation of that week’s payroll? What if there weren’t enough hours worked this week to make up the salary?
With this tool, you eliminate all of those variables. Now, if you do happen to make a mistake, it’s only a matter of clicking a button and re-entering your information. And if there aren’t enough hours to make up the salary, you can select the option to pay the employee the minimum wage for that week. The only thing left to do is to print your pay stub!
Another advantage of this new tool is that it provides a much more detailed picture of what your earnings are. For example, if you’re a retail store assistant manager, you’ll see everything from the cost of your hourly wage to the tips that you earned (if any). You won’t see just the pay check that you receive at the end of the month.
And finally, if you’re a corporate retail store owner, you may choose to see how much each of your employees earns. You can track hourly wages, overtime, and any tips that they may have earned.
