How Much It Cost To Get Into Dawgwoog Speedway? [Answered!]

I have to admit – I was pretty skeptical about the whole “Dawgwoog Speedway” thing when I first heard about it. I mean, sure, I’ve driven past the place a thousand times with my parents when we were traveling, but I never really thought much about it. Then, a few weeks ago, I got a strange phone call from a man who said he was from Dawgwoog Speedway, and he had my name and number on his caller ID. He then proceeded to tell me all about this crazy underground racing series that’s been around for a while, but never really caught on in the United States. After listening to him talk for a few minutes, I decided to give it a try. Could it really be that simple? Turns out, it could – and it was!

What Is Dawgwoog Speedway?

In some ways, Dawgwoog Speedway is like any other racing series. You have your cars, your engines, your tires, and your tracks. The main difference is that these cars, engines, and other items are all custom-made and designed for racing. This doesn’t mean that they’re expensive or difficult to buy – far from it! It just means that everything is built to a higher standard, and with more passion. When you get a chance to try one out, you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

How Does It Work?

The people at Dawgwoog Speedway don’t take their racing very seriously. They only build engines and do whatever else is needed to make sure their cars are prepared for the race. As long as you have a car and an engine, you’re good to go! You don’t need a garage or a team of mechanics – though they certainly wouldn’t turn down the company you keep, in case things break.

How Many Races Do They Have?

The number of races that Dawgwoog Speedway holds varies from year to year. Last year, they had eight races – though some of them were only a couple of hours long. The year before that, they had only four. It really depends on how much money they have to spend and how fast cars can go these days. The faster the car, the more speed events they have – up to an arbitrary cap, of course. This keeps things interesting for the participants, and for spectators, too!

What Is The Name Of The Series?

The name of the series is The Whiskey Rebellion. It’s named after a famous civil war that took place in the early 1800s and involved whiskey makers who were trying to overthrow the federal government. The revolt was put down by Colonel Albert Brewer, who went on to become the Sheriff of Lawrence County, Kansas. In commemoration of this event, the racing series is named after him – with the “Dawgwoog” part coming from the town of his birth, where he spent many years after the civil war. They named this series after the great American War of Independence because they feel that the spirit of the revolution still lives on in all of its glory today.

Who Is The King of The Whiskey Rebellion?

The King of The Whiskey Rebellion is Jack Parker, a.k.a. “Big Jack”. He has been a permanent fixture in the series since its beginning. Jack has won the championship three times – in 2002, 2003, and 2007. He currently holds the record for the most consecutive wins with seven, and he’s also one of the few racers to have competed in every event they’ve ever held. Big Jack is definitely a legend in the world of underground racing, and he’s been a major driving force behind the popularity of the series. Without him, it wouldn’t even exist. He holds the record for the most consecutive championship wins with seven.

Other drivers to have won the championship include Tommy Kendall, Jason Mattera, and Ron Fellows. The list of past champions is quite long, and it shows how competitive the series has always been. It’s not unusual to see race cars from as early as the 1920s and as recent as this year still competing against each other. As a matter of fact, some of the cars are still in good enough condition that they are raced on a regular basis. Over the years, the cars have gotten faster and faster, and this year is no different! It will be interesting to see how popular this series continues to become.
