- You must add at least $35 of purchases to your Amazon Amazon account before you can qualify
- The purchases must be fulfilled by Amazon
- The transactions must go through by January 31, 2020
- You have to complete a minimum of three qualifying transactions to get your cash back
If you can meet these criteria, you’ll be able to get your cash back. As long as you do, in fact, meet the criteria. Which, luckily, you can confirm by going to your Amazon.com account and looking under “My Account” where you will see a small button that says “See Details.” Or, you can click here, and it’ll take you to your account so you can confirm.
In order to confirm, you must either (a) log in to your account or (b) click the confirmation link that will be sent to you by email.

So you know how much we love Amazon. Don’t worry, we hate to spend too much time on social media. But for some reason, we can’t stay away. Especially when it comes to Amazon. Even though they take a chunk of change out of every purchase.

How To Redeem?
Once you’ve confirmed that you do, in fact, meet the criteria, you’ll see a form asking you to enter a redemption code. You can either (a) use the code that was provided to you or (b) click “Redeem Now” to manually enter a code.
If you go the manual route, you’ll be able to find the code under “My Account.” Where you can also find all the other codes you’ve redeemed for. (Codes are case-sensitive.)

Or you’re a business owner who pays a substantial amount of income tax. (If you’re in a lower tax bracket, you may not see the advantage of this. But still, it’s worth it.)
This is an especially great option if you’re looking for a Christmas or New Year’s present for your spouse. Or yourself. If you itemize your deductions, you can add the value of the gift card on your taxes. (Just remember to use the value of the card, not the remaining amount on it. You’ll want to report the value of what you actually use.)
This is also a great option if you’re looking for a unique item that isn’t on Amazon. But still wants to fulfill a particular wish or need. Like my wife. She wanted a new couch and had her eyes on this one. But it wasn’t on Amazon. So, she got me to order it for her. And I got a tax deduction for the whole thing. (I’m not going to lie, it was a hell of a couch. But, still, it’s not like I said I was getting her a new bike or something. So it was kind of fair.)

So, if you want to be able to get a Tim Horton’s coffee, as long as you’re in Canada, you can put in a request for a special code. (But who isn’t in Canada? It’s the Great White North. Everyone knows what Tim Horton’s is. So, unless you’re in Canada, getting a Tim’s coffee may not be possible. There’s a lot of speculation that this is actually an exercise to see how many times you can type “Tim’s” into the search bar without it auto-suggesting “Tim Hortons.” You’d be surprised how many times it’ll suggest “twenty”. So instead of typing “Tim’s,” you end up with “twenty Tim’s.”)
