Butler, a company well known for its butlers, may soon be getting into the motorcycle business. The British butler company has started a new venture: the Superbowl, a limited edition motorcycle designed for speed and style. The company has partnered with a California-based motorbikes specialist, Cycle Gear, to create the Superbowl. According to a press release from April 3, 2019, Butler will manufacture the Superbowl in the United States, while Cycle Gear will take care of the design and build. The two companies plan to begin producing the motorcycles in the fourth quarter of this year.
The Superbowl comes with a number of luxurious features and high-end components. For instance, the handlebars are wrapped in Italian satin leather, whereas the seat is covered in faux snakeskin. Additionally, the tank can be customized with the partner’s logo, as well as a custom paint job. Furthermore, the two-part windscreen features an adjustable design ensuring that passengers can still watch the road ahead even in the pouring rain.
These days, luxury bike manufacturers like Harley-Davidson and its own subsidiary, Dyna Corp, have begun to gain popularity in the United States. As a result, the demand for luxury goods in the two-wheeler world has grown. It would only make sense that one of the world’s most famous butler companies would enter the motorbikes business. Hopefully, the partnership with Cycle Gear will be a success and will lead to other similar ventures.
