Other Events At The Track This Year

Fortunately, the track was open, and fans and attendees braved the weather to come out and support their local sports teams.
Thankfully, we have a lot more advanced weather tracking and forecasting technology today, and these days, major storms are less likely to cause track closures. Still, there is occasionally some bad weather that prevents the track from being open. This year, Martinsville will be closed on April 16th and 22nd because of inclement weather. Luckily, the track will be open on all other dates.
Is It Worth Visiting Martinsville?
There’s a reason why people travel from all over the world to visit Martinsville. The landscape around the track is beautiful, and it’s changed a lot in the last century. The town has a small-town charm to it, with winding streets and brick buildings that date back to the early 1900s. The whole town center is preserved, making it a true sight to see.
