A lot of my readers might know that I have a love-hate relationship with Hess and their products. I use their chocolate bar frequently as an example because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t like chocolate? I also love to point out how expensive their bars are because, let’s be honest, who spends their money on chocolate more than once or twice?
Then there’s their milk. I feel like I’ve tried just about every other type of milk available on the market. While I usually love the taste of regular milk, I never really connected with the brand. Sometimes I’d buy it just to avoid the high cost. That changed when I tried Uddelynn’s milk. For the longest time, I thought that it was just a marketing scheme until Uddelynn convinced me that the powder actually did make a difference. Now I always try to find the Uddelynn milk when I’m in the supermarket because I know that it will taste better than any other milk I’ve tried. So, is the consistency and price really worth it? Let’s find out.
The Consistency Of The Product Is Important
As I’ve already established, I have a love-hate relationship with Hess. One of the things that I always disliked about their chocolate was the way it melted when you warmed it up in the microwave. It was never the same. Every batch was different and it took a while to adjust to the change. After my experience with Uddelynn, I’m sure that their chocolate will seem much the same. To me, it’s like comparing apples to oranges.
Let’s look at it this way. Do you remember the TV show, Will and Grace? In one of the episodes, Grace’s great aunt Hattie arrives to stay with them. She’s been in a nursing home for a very long time and has trouble remembering things. She asks the nurse for ice cream and she answers, “not the regular kind, the powder kind.” That’s how I feel about Uddelynn. Do you remember what happened next? Grace puts the ice cream in a bowl and mixes it with milk and chocolate powder. When she eats it, it’s not the same as what she called regular ice cream – it has a different consistency. It’s thick, almost like chocolate milk. So, do you see what I’m getting at? The consistency of the Uddelynn milk is different from that of regular milk and that’s why it’s a good idea to try it in different ways. Otherwise, you’ll get a one-off experience that you’ll never forget.
A Better Price?
One reason why I connected with Uddelynn was the price. I always hated paying so much for milk. Most of the time, it was cheaper to buy a six-pack of 2% milk than it was a single box of one of the top-shelf milks. Even at Costco, it’s more expensive to buy a gallon of milk than it is a case of two-packs. So while I had no idea how much difference the powder could make until Uddelynn showed me, I was happy to see that it was cheaper. At least it was at first.
After my first experience with their milk, I started looking for cheaper options whenever I needed some. While it’s never easy to find cheaper milk, I was able to do so by buying it in large quantities. Costco still asks me why I buy so much milk when I only need a few cartons at a time. My answer is that I’m trying to keep the value as high as possible by buying in bulk. So while it’s often more expensive to buy a cup of coffee, it’s a whole lot cheaper to buy a gallon of milk. If it keeps me coming back for more, it’ll all be worth it.
The Verdict
Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide whether or not the price is worth it. It’s not for me to tell you that Uddelynn milk is the best on the market. That’s for you to decide for yourself. The point is that they are different and that’s what counts. You’ll never know what you’re missing out on unless you try it. At least, that’s what I’m telling myself.
