What Can You Take Into Charlotte Motor Speedway? [Ultimate Guide!]

The NASCAR Cup Series is arguably one of the most exciting series in all of sports. The races are often very close, especially at the end. In fact, there have been several times this year where a single car, or a combination of cars, have been responsible for turning the tide in a NASCAR race. It’s a really exciting time in NASCAR when one of these epic races happens.

Of course, if you’re going to a NASCAR race, then you’re going to want to prepare to leave something special in the car. We’re going to give you some tips on what you can take into Charlotte Motor Speedway so that you can have an even more memorable experience.

What Can You Take Into The Speedway?

There are a number of things you can take into the Speedway, and we’ve compiled a list of some of the essentials and some of the things you might not want to bring. This list includes things like clothes and accessories, but it also includes a lot more.

Clothes

It’s always good practice to dress appropriately for the occasion. You should have a jacket and a tie around if you’re going to a business event, but you might also want to bring a sports coat or a blazer with you if you’re going to a game. You might also want to bring some warm up jackets with you as well in case the air is a little chilly. You’ll also want to make sure to pack some light clothing items as well as some warm clothes in case the temperature varies a lot from one spot to another.

Camera Equipment

For some photographers, a trip to the Speedway is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we really encourage you to take advantage of that. If you know you’re going to be taking lots of pictures, then bring a camera with you that’s big enough to take a good picture of the whole stage. One of the best things about the NASCAR venue is that it’s incredibly photogenic, and we have photographers who’ve actually gotten very creative with the unique backdrop the track offers. Having a camera is essential for creating unique photo opportunities where you wouldn’t normally expect to see a camera. For example, have you ever seen a racing crowd with their backs to the camera? Chances are, that’s because there’s nobody there to take it.

Laptop/Pad

If you’re going to be doing a lot of research, then bring your laptop along with you. You can also use the hotel’s internet access to look up info if you have an issue with a car or need to know the best way to spell a name or word. Research is often needed when you’re in a new place, and it’s not always convenient to look it up when you’re in the middle of an event. Having a laptop can also be useful for creating digital versions of the important papers that need to be presented or filed. You might also want to bring a pad of paper along as well so that you can take notes during the event. Remember, your laptop/pad can’t be bigger than 12″ x 12″ x 2″ so you don’t want to bring anything larger than that.
