We’ll begin with the most obvious choice on our list and the one that probably everyone has heard of before: Aruba. The island is famous for its casinos, beaches, and nightlife, which draw tourists from around the world. (See also:

Aruba also has a rich history, and there are many places to learn more about it. In 2018, the island was hailed as a prime example of how to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic, as they had managed to keep the number of cases low and the fatalities to a minimum. According to Aruba Tourism Authority, the island saw a 15% increase in revenue from April to June 2020, mainly due to increased demand from cruise ship passengers who were unable to go ashore during the pandemic.
Tahiti
Moving on to our next destination, let’s take a look at the French Polynesian island of Tahiti. Not only is it paradise on earth, with a temperate climate and gorgeous beaches, but it also has some of the most iconic hotels in the world. Notable resorts include the luxury hotel Moorea, which is located on the island’s northern coast, and the magnificent resort, which has a magnificent view of the beautiful Yasur Vanuatu (Espiritu Santo).
In 2019, Tahiti was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, with cases increasing by 18% and the death toll reaching 14%. Since then, the island has been working hard to get back to its pre-pandemic state, and there are already indications that travel restrictions and quarantine measures have helped. In 2020, Tahiti saw a 10% decrease in cases and a 26% decrease in deaths, although there are still many cases and deaths from Covid-19.
Mauritius
Mauritius is yet another beautiful place that you should consider visiting in 2021. The island is located in the Indian Ocean and is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. If you are looking for a more modern take on traveling, then look no further. The island’s coastline is filled with beautiful beaches, perfect for a lazy week of soaking up the sun. And what’s more, all of these rooms will be located next to the water, providing amazing views of the Arabian Gulf and beyond.
